The service was great, Denzel was a great waiter. Polite, came to the table when needed. Kept the table from clutter. Great experience with a wonderful friend.

I don't understand the negative reviews. We had a very nice dining experience when we visited this place on a Saturday evening in early February. We arrived around 8:30 pm without a reservation, and while the restaurant was crowded, we were promptly seated in the elevated dining area to the left with a view of the open kitchen and stage area that hosts the evening Flamenco show. Our waiter and his runner were very attentive, answered our questions, and filled our wine and water glasses as needed. The service was neither rushed nor overly slow; rather, it was leisurely as one might expect when dining in Spain.

The Tapas menu is extensive, and while this may not have been the greatest Tapas that we have ever tasted, it was very good and worthy of at least another visit. Much to our liking, the bill at the end of the night was relatively modest given that the price for a "a little bit of this and a little bit of that," which is the norm when we dine at tapas tapas restaurants, tends to add up quickly. If you are in the mood for tapas, then you should most definitely give this place a try.

The restaurant was a bit overwhelmed and understaffed the night we arrived so we had to wait a bit for service. Once we did flag down a waiter, he was delightful and made the evening really fun (he was from Bilbao). The warm rolls and Rioja wine got us in a great mood and the tapas began flying out shortly after we ordered them. The stuffed portabello was really tasty as was the vegetable paella we got as a main dish. The architecture and ambiance is a great way to feel like you're in Spain. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and it's located conveniently walking distance to the Old Scottsdale area.

The food is exceptional here. They have a wide variety of tapas and all the ones I have had are excellent, very tasty. The paella, I have to admit, is outstanding and probably the best or second best I have had in a restaurant in the US! The two times I have gone there has been guitar and flamenco, which added to the vibe. The wine selection could use an upgrade and more selection, though. This is the one place I go to every time I visit Scottsdale.

Wide Paella offering, loved it, my second time. First time personal, this time biz. Cozy location and outdoor seating ambience within Old Scottsdale. Look forward to again.
