Yet another one of our favorites on a recent trip to Scottsdale. I'd consider ourselves mexican food connoisseurs - and we thoroughly enjoyed The Mission. My only complaint was how dark it was and the noise level. But, I'd sacrifice and go back again :) Margaritas and guac are fantastic - and so are the amazing butternut squash tacos!

We had brunch here and it was awesome. Fresh guacamole table side. Great flavors, and upscale Sonoran favorites. Indoor and patio seating. Quality Margaritas too. Easily the number 2 Mexican restaurant in Scottsdale.

The ambiance was a lively and dark. The seating was a little crowded, and the service was about average. No one went out of their way to make the experience special. The food was also about average for the price, and I thought that the house-made tortillas could have been much better. All that said, the duck empanadas were amazing, and I probably would go back just to order these again.

Trendy Mexican hot spot in Old Town Scottsdale. I’ve been about 5 times now. My favorite is the mahi mahi tacos-but you have to ask to get them grilled otherwise they come out fried. Also ask for their cheesy rice (not on the menu) it’s takes almost like cheesy Asian friend rice. It’s so good.

Fun place to go for tapas. Let’s be the duck. Great margaritas!!! The atmosphere is fun with a great patio in the back.
