Love this place. My wife and I stayed over Easter weekend and were really impressed. Upon arrival, you've got two parking options - valet or self-park. Most hotels of this caliber don't offer self-park and if they do, it's typically a hike from the lot to the hotel. Not so with The Scott. The lot is open and the closest spots are no more than 30 yards from the main building. Valets, whether or not you choose to park with them, are friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Check-in was seamless and friendly. It couldn't have taken more than five minutes from the time we approached the desk to the time we were handed room keys. One other note on parking: Our room was on the opposite side of the property from the main lot. You do have the option to pull your car around the building and closer to your room if you'd like. For us, the main parking lot was still so close that we simply walked our bags to the room, which, was clean with a beautiful view of the grounds, which transport guests from the bustle of one of greater Phoenix's bustling nightlife hubs to a quiet oasis.

The restaurant menu is a fusion of Caribbean-influenced dishes featuring fresh ingredients. One of the standout features is how tight the menu is. I like options as much as anyone, but at some point dishes begin to overlap and become unnecessary. The Scot has done a good job editing the menu. Recommended dishes: Shrimp ceviche; quinoa and arugula salad; doughnut holes. Drinks are extremely solid and, like the food menu, lean island-y; Hemingway Daiquiri, Cubano Viejo, El Floridita, etc. If you like rum, look no further.

Summary: Family friendly, but still quiet; top-notch hospitality; quality food and drink; convenience to everything Scottsdale has to offer. Enjoy!

I found the Scott Resort & Spa to be an exceptional facility. The rooms were clean, the food was exceptional, and the grounds were very special. You heard no noise from the street and the staff were unbelievably friendly. The location was close to everything.I would highly encourage everyone to come to this resort.

What a welcoming Resort! It is small enough to feel right at home and large enough to handle your next private event! I really liked the many nooks and corners for guests to sit and relax in privacy. The resort has a home feel to it, pool size is adequate. Happy hour menu has a Cuban accent which is a nice addition to Scottsdale venues.

Lovely resort! intimate two story hotel surrounds an oasis of beautiful landscaping & pools. Huge lobby area to hang out, have a drink or some food. Staff was wonderful, helpful and good spirited. Restaurant and bar were great, breakfast was amazing, dinners and craft cocktail bar was very good as well. We visited with my 14 year old daughter and her friend and we all had a great time hanging out by the pools and playing games in the huge beautiful lobby area. Location was right in the middle of shopping, hiking & golfing. We'll be back!!!

Room tip: Second floor rooms with views of gardens & pools are best locations

We booked this hotel at the last minute after a long week of traveling In Sedona, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. We are so glad we did— it was the best way to end our spring break trip. We seriously considered moving our flights to stay an extra day! Highly recommend this hotel for families.

From my daughter:
The pool was amazing even with actual sand in it! The hotel overall was stunning. If we had arrived an hour before, we wouldn’t have been able to go in the pool for remodeling, and let me just say That the remodel was gorgeous! If you’re looking for a luxury hotel with the friendliest people you with ever meet, delicious food and a comfortable stay you’re in luck this is the place you to be! — Maeve, age 10
