This museum is really several put together. There is a main building, governor's mansion, several area homes, schoolhouse, train station, plus. The map directs you from the earliest humans living in the area, to more modern days.

The museum is quite interesting with exhibits, docents giving talks and a short movie explaining the historical significance. The grounds have 9 different buildings. It is well worth the entrance fee.

Very well displayed, lots to see. Governors mansion was closed, due to replacing the flooring. Well stocked gift shop. Highly recommended.

The old govenors mansion is here. New display of the areas ancient history. One building was closed. If you don't know much about the history or area it is a good way to spend an afternoon.
