this restaurant has been at same location (which means a lot ) for over 20 years. if you want the best asian noodles, dumplings, sushi etc. this is the place. the prices are un-believeable and the portitions are plenty. cherry blossom is in a small shopping area in the corner., very hard to see from 7th street. they do not need to advertised,we got there at 5:30 pm friday night and when we left, you would not believe people waiting outside.if you call to make a reservation the same day----------do not accept them----------have to call day before. i could go on and on, also i failed to tell they serve italian
food----------don't let this mis-guide you. if you don't give this a try you are missing out.

Our first time here was when we were craving good Gyoza dumplings made the way we like them. It was close to a car dealership we had to wait for some docs to get sent to - so we didn't want to go far. Our next time was for a dinner because we liked it so much. Sashimi I had was decent, others in party ordered everything from salads to pasta! Still good. Desserts are satisfyingly different. Nice drinks at happy hour or not, and the gyoza appetizer was delicious. Not huge, but we drove a ways to dine here - clean, friendly service, but sometimes a wait and if it's summer there isn't much wait space, so we went in winter and visited the wine shop on the end of the same sidewalk while we were waiting - good selection so we also picked up a couple bottles to take home!

Stumbled upon this place. Pretty much, this is a noodle house. ANY KIND of Asian noodles you want, PLUS Italian noodles, too. The food was VERY good, hit the spot exactly. Normally, would have gotten sushi, but was totally in a noodle mood and this place killed it.

Located near downtown Phoenix this little hideaway restaurant is amazing! My favorite is the Udon noodle soup. They have Japanese, Italian, sushi.. get the best of many worlds! Clean & cozy, one o my favorite spots to get lunch or dinner! Bread basket is to die for.

This small family run restaurant on east Camelback Road in central Phoenix reminds me of the small noodle houses that are so commonplace in Tokyo. Cherry Blossom is quite small, not pretentious with regard to decor, but it does offer a good selection of traditional Japanese noodle dishes - udon, soba and ramen. The portions are quite large, not only the noodle bowls, but also the gyoza and tempura dishes. I went with friends and one vegetable tempura as part of our appetizer selection was sufficient for all of us. The tempura was light and delicate and not at all oily. I had a chicken ramen Tokyo style. It was brought piping hot, the noodles were perfectly cooked and the grilled chicken was very tasty. I would have liked to have seen some fresh bean sprouts or other green along with the hard boiled egg, which is so commonplace. But otherwise I was quite pleased and would definitely return.
