Really liked the hotel and convenience to airport. We used SPG points both, at the beginning of our vacation, and at the end. Free room overlooking beach both times and enjoyed pool as well. Early AM flights much easier to catch from this location. Would do it same way all over again if visiting Samoa.

We stayed here for a few nights after moving from a more centrally located resort.

The Resort itself has a really awesome pool, and a great stretch of beach, however it's lacking in certain areas..

Pros-
Pool Bar and staff there are awesome, friendly and make great cocktails.
The Sun lounger/pool area is generally clean, tidy and comfortable

Cons-
The A/C is mediocre at best
The Shower is regularly cold and pressure is very dismal
The Casino is very empty, and even more disappointing- the Bar they have inside- doesn't stock any mixers for their spirits other than "Coke", wine and beer are also off the cards.
Food is overpriced- in comparison to other resorts around the island.
Cocktails anywhere other than the Swim up bar are made wrong, and not drinkable (Margarita's made with Bacardi).

Room Tip: Ask for the 3 or 4 block so you're close to everything!

Don't get fooled by the Sheraton name, the number of stars or the high prices, this is a very average hotel/resort at best. Service is variable to say the least, food very hit and miss but mostly bad and overpriced, you pay extra for pretty much everything and pool closes at sunset despite the very warm weather. Rooms sometimes get cleaned during the day, sometimes towards evening and sometimes not at all until you ask for it. Most staff not very friendly or knowledgeable and good ones are few and far between. Basically a stay here will cost you a lot but you'll get very little for your money.

Talofa to the team at the Sheraton!

Last month we had few days at your amazing resort. We just want to extend our very grateful thanks to all the staff for the fantastic service we received during our short stay. We have two daughters who both have Coeliacs Disease and we could not have hoped for a better service from the kitchen with regard to making sure that gluten free options were available at every meal. The extra effort that the staff went to (including the waitresses and waiters) to accommodate the girl's diet was amazing and nothing was ever too much trouble. At breakfast time each morning, one of the waitresses would see us arrive and would go out and let the chef know in the kitchen - he would then prepare the girls their GF toast and bacon which would be cooked separately to avoid gluten contamination by other food. This made breakfast time so enjoyable for the girls as they were also able to then help themselves to other GF options from the buffet.

Can this email please be passed onto Management so that they are aware of a group of seven guests who were incredibly satisfied with the service we received from the Sheraton Resort!

Thanks again

This resort was one of the most beautiful resorts we stayed at in Samoa. It was massive, and as soon as we arrived we were treated to coconut water, which was a heavensend in the Samoa heat.

The resort is HUGE, so if you're staying with a big group try and see if you can get your rooms close together, or you'll be walking a long way to visit your friends if you're on opposite sides of the resort.

The resort has everything you could ever want, and the airport & wharf are just a stone's throw away. We came to the resort straight after returning from Savai'i and only took a few seconds to get there!

However, the food at the hotel is expensive... For Samoa standards anyway. $49 Tala for a burger, not really the norm in Samoa, heck most places in Sydney wouldn't even cost that much, but having said that, the burgers were delicious! 44 Tala for the pizza was kind of a rip off as the pizza came to us half cooked, looked like it was a frozen pizza that hadn't been cooked long enough, so that was disappointing. $16 tala for a 2L bottle of coke :/ but these are the kind of prices you'd expect from a resort I guess, just maybe not in Samoa.

All in all, the resort was great, the location, the facilities, the staff all top notch! We visited the Casino which was fun and relaxed, although I preferred the Casino at the Aggie Grey's in Apia more.

Room Tip: If staying in a group, try and get rooms together as the property is massive!
