We went to visit a friend of ours from the states who moved here. Nice surfing spot. The road is narrow going back.

Enjoyed a wonderful day here. Great facilities, comparatively, and brilliant accommodating and welcoming family.

Reviews that say $30 tala (USD $11) is too expensive to park a car for the day and enjoy this beach are simply ignorant. It's a private beach, fully maintained by a family-village whose sole income is the tourism trade. It unlikely they get Govt. support and no doubt pay tax on the $11. Support developing villages to achieve their economic aspirations for self sufficiency.

I gave this a poor review because although it is a very beautiful beach and water, asking for 30 WST just to park and use the beach is overboard. Upon arriving and parking, we were approached by a local girl of about 11 y/o and she informed that it costs 30 WST even if we just want to park and not use any of the huts. So we just took a few quick shots and left. It's a pity as there are some place to for food too, but since we had to pay even to park, just left. Not sure how the food establishment gets customers. Will be curious on what they charge for food.
