Potential, but they need to do something about shabby bathrooms. I think the place is great, but needs some spruce up in bathrooms please. Snorkel is great during high tides on sunny day.

We wanted to snorkel in Samoa, and given the ravages of Cyclone Gita Palolo Deep was recommended. But like the rest of Samoa the reserve is largely devoid of life, with dead coral and few fish. It also suffers from very strong currents - my wife was unable to get out to the marker that designates the coral bombie, and when I got there there was almost nothing to see.
Overall we were quite disappointed.

Awesome snorkeling day spent here. Please note it’s quite a journey out to the drop off where you see the majority of marine life. We went with a guy from Samoa diving who was fantastic! He directed which areas where safe to swim in etc and provided all the gear. $50 tala includes entry fee and picked us up from the resort. Would highly recommend hiring someone even if your good at swimming. The water was extremely rough the day we went out. Saw some great marine life! Best snorkeling trip so far.

Nice to snorkel out there. The current wasn't too bad. Nice area to park and get a fale and there's a little caravan shop that sells the bomb chilli dogs
