Top end hotel in enviable position beside the Sound. Traditional style but a little tired now compared to the Araksur. Spa is small and pool was poor. It is not a cheap option either. Could do with refurbishment. Rooms are simple and nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Los Cauquenes! Our room was beautiful and the bed was the most comfortable of our travels in Argentina. The location is great. We enjoyed our walks on the beach. The Concierge was very helpful in answering questions, making reservations and assisting us in arranging for the excursions we wished to take. We enjoyed the hot tub and swimming in the pool, sipping wine in the lounge and solarium after our day's adventures. The restaurant is very good and we especially enjoyed our cooking class and then enjoying the menu at dinner that night. The breakfast included many selections and everything we had was good. We would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Ushuaia.

Room Tip: View room! The view was spectacular from our room. We kept our curtains open the entire stay so we could enjoy the beautiful sights.

We arrived here after spending 2 nights at Eolo in El Calafate where we were throughly spoilt and treated in such a special manner. On arrival there wasn’t even someone to help with our luggage. I’m capable, but it would’ve been nice to say “No thank you”. The rooms are spacious and offer a good view of the Beagle Channel, but the bathroom is cramped and The bath is ridiculously small.. The menu in the restaurant is limited, but the black hake was tasty and the lamb was chewy. We battled to get information about our pre-booked excursions and had to continually bug the concierge to help us. (Again after Eolo where they laid everything out for us the night before this was annoying).

My wife and I stayed a day and night before our trip to Antarctica. The views from the hotel are amazing and there are some nice walks on the coast. The food is great as well, I would recommend the King Crab soup.

Very nice hotel with a unique view on the Beagle Channel. Right on the water with direct access to the beach. The restaurant serves fantastic food. The service is excellent. The personnel at the concierge is extremely kind and helpful. One bad note: we could hear any single word (and noise) coming from the room next to ours. As you may understand, this was quite annoying and unaccetable in a hotel of this kind. Also the spa was below expectations.
