Wonderful place to stay a bit out of town but so worth it for the views and quiet it offers. Hotel has everything you need but the food is outstanding! Loved their pumpkin soup as it mostly had a broth base. King crab was the best as were any of the meat dishes. Raviolis were not so great. We took a nice walk along the shore and then cut into the houses to see some cute homes. Took a taxi into town to browse a little. Everything was easy and reliable.

Staff was curt and aloof, not very helpful with problems. TV didn't work properly. Some of our fellow travelers had similar issues with customers service. Although we didn't get a room with a good view of the Beagle Channel, mountains, etc., the view from the hotel lobby was very nice. The hotel is a mile or two away from the city of Ushuaia proper, and that could be an issue wit some visitors.

The hotel is a bit out of the way. It is not located within walking distance of the city. It is on the channel and you can walk along the rocky beach. The rooms are good enough. There is a bar and restaurant. If you choose to eat there you need to give them your order a few hours before the 8 pm dinner hour so that it can be prepared. The room we had tended to be a bit warm and there is only one small window for air circulation. There is satellite TV.

Situated outside of town on the Beagle Channel. Gorgeous view over channel and mountains. Rooms are modern and roomy and with gret views. Wonderful buffet breakfast. dinner was very good and there is an good selection of malbecs on the menu. Staff helpful and friendly. Cab ride into town was a few dollars and hotel will arrange for cabs. Wifi was free. There are lounges with pool table etc.

As part of a tour group to Patagonia, we spent two nights here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with nice bathrooms and all look onto the Beagle Channel, so the views are magnificent. However, it was in a fairly isolated location so not convenient for walking into town, as it would have taken an hour along a very dusty unpaved road. Taxis were therefore required but came quickly when reception staff phoned. Breakfast was served in the bar upstairs which also had great views. It was ok, nothing special and when I asked if there were any more yogurts as they had run out, I was told that they had "finished" Hey ho.
The big downside was on the second night when although the hotel were told that the whole of our tour would be dining there (28). There was total chaos in the restaurant, with people waiting literally hours for their food, much of which was not available on the menu. We were luckier than most, as we had gone in at 7pm so got our meal (not particularly good) in reasonable time, but we gave up on dessert as we never saw the waitress again. Woefully understaffed although she tried her best. There was also a mix up with the bill as we were overcharged for the wine due to being given something different to what was ordered. If the hotel could improve on the restaurant service, it would be a very good choice, but be aware of the shortcomings. On the other hand, there are plenty of good restaurants in town, albeit a taxi ride away.
