Rooms were comfy/warmenough but the plug sockets were hard to access in a dorm of 4 (one in the bathroom and one by the door both high up on the wall)
Kitchen could have been a bit more spacious because as it's always busy at reasonable eating times.
And the wifi rarely ever connected.
One of the few good things was the view of the lake, but it didn't really make up for the overall experience.

Booked 2 beds in a dorm in hostel inn Bariloche as we had heard how nice the view was and how reasonable the price was. After catching a bus and walking up the hill and stairs to the accommodation, the guy at the front desk told us we were actually booked into Hostel Marco Polo down the road? No idea why. He was very pleasant but as this was not what we had paid for, it was annoying. Marco Polo had no view whatsoever and the room was gross and smelly. Really ddisappointed.

We got a little trouble finding the place as the street numeration is different on the front sidewalk, we phoned the place to get directions before going up the street with all are luggage but it was actually no surprise we didn’t get our call answered, as the day I made the reservation, I called to add another night to our stay but no one picked up the phone.
Once in the place, we were assigned a cold bleach smelly room with a tiny window, we could hear the cauldron all the time (it was supposed to stop at night which was a lie) and the fun thing is that the steam radiator didn’t work in this room, we notified the receptionist guy but he did nothing, so we spent a night in that cold and noisy room. Friday night, another receptionist (the one wearing glasses) was kind enough to helped us and we moved to another room, which was more suitable to the price we paid. The kitchen is somewhat small compared to the number of people who stays but it was fine. Wi-Fi was quite unstable. Breakfast is OK to a hostel standard. If you want to know what to do in Bariloche, better ask the girl at weekends who is kind enough to give you recommendations.
The stairs to get up there were the least of our problems, but have in mind what kind of luggage you have.

We paid 670 ARS/night for a bed and booked for three people but were not given the same room. Breakfast included is very simple.

PROS
- Great views from the deck
- Nice big common areas and rooms
- Friendly, English-speaking staff
- Good location just a short walk from main streets
- They can arrange a taxi

CONS
- Lockers were not secure, anyone can remove the eye hooks
- The kitchen was not clean nor in good shape to cook in (old and dirty cookware), especially for the number of guests they host
- In our rom there was only one outlet behind a bunk bed
- The showers were cramped, with the curtain always touching you
- The internet was spotty
- You cannot bring in your own alcohol, only purchase wine or beer from front desk
- Should introduce recycling and compost in kitchen

The hostel is up a hill and a load of steps but the view is amazing. The private rooms are a good price for Bariloche and the staff were nice. Breakfast was standard. All in all it was a good stay....
