The concierge was a really nice guy and super helpful to give on-the-ground local information. He tirelessly helped people with endless amounts of questions to those in the lobby. They had beer and an incredible rooftop when we arrived. The flusher was broken in our room but they were responsive. We only stayed one night before going off trekking, so it was a perfect stay. Things book quickly in January in Bariloche, so book ahead of time, especially for hostels!

Also, note that Wifi was really slow!

Good Hostel with kitchen, free breakfast and an excellent view. The staff is really kind and helpfull. I had a nice stay. They do not accept visa cards though, and the shared rooms do not include towels (and you cannot rent one).

The hostel was very normal apart from the view that was amazing.
The rooms really needed some work and the keys were very hard to use.
The kitchen was old and needed lots of new things.
The place was ok but there are much nice places to stay in the area.
Says its 300 m from the square and yeah It is if you can fly over buldings its a fair bit more than that when you have to walk up hill around curvy streets.

Bariloche in general is just way too expensive. We didn't like Bariloche because of this. Renting a bike was €28 and rafting €140. You could better do all these things in Chili!!

This hostel was ok. They had central heating and our room was too hot, but there was nothing they could do. They did have a free meal, which was simple, but tasty and good because everything was so expensive.

Nice views from the hostels. Clean. Good kitchen. Some staff really friendly, others didn't really care.

The hostel is very well located. It's close to the city centre and has a nice panoramic view of the Nahuel Huapi Lake from the main shared space.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to go to them for information about what to do in Bariloche.

I don't know if this is true all year long, but when i went (October 2015) the hostel offered free dinners (as well as the free breakfasts that are the norm in most hostels). The dinner was served on a nearby hostel, Marcopolo Inn. The food wasn't anything out of this world, but, free food! And sometimes they were pretty good meals (e.g., lentil stew).
