If you've ever wondered what a hotel would be like if run by teenage boys, go no further than the Paradise Inn. When you do go there scream and shout to be given a first floor room - those at ground level would only seem comfortable to someone recently released from a jail. You may not appreciate the family's young children running, screaming and shouting in an unrestrained way, not the cat and dogs wandering around the restaurant. When you switch on the bathroom light, be prepared for the sound of a jet engine starting up - it's the extractor fan.

The redeeming feature is the restaurant, which is middlingly good, if you can ignore the kids and the pets.

There must be better alternatives in Puerto Piramides - I'd suggest the Paradise only if no rooms are available elsewhere.

Room Tip: Avoid the ground floor rooms

If you'd like to visit peninsula Valdes, it's highly recommended to stay in Puerto piramides, it will save you time. If you stay in Puerto Piramides, The Paradise is the place to stay. Because the hotel was very quiet, we were upgraded to one of the two suites. These rooms have a breathtaking ocean view and a jacuzzi in the room. This means enjoying the view from the Jacuzzi with a nice glass of wine. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and know a lot about where to find which animals. Summarized, highly recommended!

Stayed there November 2010 but must write a review!

Amazing place, ask for a room on the second floor with Bay view. You can see whale from your bed!

Excellent breakfast and dinner.
Walking distance to the centre.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the second floor with bay view

We were originally booked here for 2 nights but extended to 3, as there's so much to see and do nearby, and it's a lovely relaxing place to stay. We had a "suite" on the first floor and it was a nice big room with views out over the beach (although the beach is a fair distance away so it's not exactly a sea view). The town is small and very quiet once the day-trippers leave, but that made it all the more peaceful and relaxing. Being able to walk around the deserted headland first thing in the morning, with whales surfacing just next to us was one of the highlights of the trip. Staff at the hotel were good with one lady in particular giving us some suggestions of places to see whales up close. The food was okay - would recommend the huge pizzas. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: The suites are a bit more expensive, but worth it

The room was great, the food in the restaurant was excellent and there recommendation of a whale watching tour was good. They also made some suggestions for a visit to the Peninsula that were precisely what we were looking for.

Room Tip: Try and get a room with a view of the bay. (we did)
