We went to Cilantro with my family, the place inside is nothing to be crazy about it, old decor, could be better. Its a small restaurant.
We start with "empanadas" (5 of them), not bad but not the best, and I mentioned that because "empanadas" is a local food, in most restaurants are very very good.
We were 5 persons and we asked for 5 different plates. Salmon wok, ostrich wok, two types of raviolis and another sea food.
Non of them was good enough, just regular, in my opinion it doesn't worth the money.
The total was 1700$ (pesos), about 100 U$S (dollar). Very expensive for what you get.

This was one of the biggest surprises of our trip so far. We had excellent service and our meals were outstanding. I had a tenderloin with green olives which was cooked perfectly and potatoes. Other selections varied but all four of us agreed it was excellent. Our server did an outstanding job serving selecting dishes that matched food concerns. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

In our second day in Tucuman we wanted to taste the local food. We had limited cash, but we use credit card for food. We arrived to Cilantro and the main waiter told us they didn't accept any card, just cash. We ventured to stay and pay in cash with what we had. To save costs we took the menu of the day since it was cheaper than the other meals. The food was delicious, and it felt homemade. We were 4 and the meals with a bottle of wine was less than 900 Argentinian pesos, which was great for us.

I'm not sure I'm coming back until they accept credit cards.

Great and warm environment/ambience and a delicious sorting of tapas plus a couple of hot dishes. It indeed provides for an very good meal.
