A restaurant with a proper ambient. The service was professional and precise (but maybe a little cold). The food was very good but without anything that could make a mark on your mind. Maybe it should be explored more than once to make a better judgment

This has to one of the best, traditional restaurants in the area. They look after each small detail, ensuring that each guest feels that they are special. The food was excellent in every respect, even the bread was perfect. Great variety on the menu, with something for everyone. We will certainly return on our next trip.

We have been to this restaurant many times over the years when visiting family. The food has consistently been excellent. The pastas, milanesas for the kids, and salads are delicious. I highly recommend the Flan for dessert! Atmosphere is old world colonial Argentina. Access to pateonal is excellent! Decent service. Will be back!

Thank Christoph C

Lonely Planet speaks highly of this restaurant, and so did the receptionists at our nearby hotel, thus we entered the premises with positive expectations. The setting is nice, white table cloths, good decoration. We ordered a Princesa Salad for 2 as starters with tuna, palmitos, rice, boiled eggs, kani-kama, tomato, beets, corn and mozzarella. For mains we had the rice with seafood for my wife and Cayasta Surubi river fish stuffed with asparagus, carrots, cream sauce with tuna, paprika and mashed spinach. We complemented the meal with a pleasant red malbec Altos del Plata by Terrazas de los Andes. The food quality overall was quite good, the ambience, while bright, quite subdued, the service however less so - even though we made it clear that we wanted the princesa salad as a starter, it arrived at the same time as our main course - most probably a linguistic misunderstanding - however there was never a follow-up by the waiter for feedback. Our total bill amounted to ars 356, but the first presentation came in at 440, including wrong prices for 3 of the items including the wine as well as a charge for 2 mineral waters when we only consumed one - in their defense apparently (sure?) the english menu had different prices from the spanish menu - that does not excuse the inconsistency nor explain the overcharge on the wine nor the 2 bottles of water - our recommendation by a former Swiss bank auditor: avoid this place or be very vigilant checking the bill. It would have been (barely) acceptable if they would have apologized and offered a compensatory drink - but none of that was forthcoming.
