Without exception, all of the staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. We had a bit of a problem with an accessible room assignment, but when we settled in, the room was clean and spacious. We had a 2 year old with us for a couple of nights while his mother was hospitalized, and he was welcomed. The breakfast room was clean and well stocked every morning. A modest dinner and a drink could be had at no additional charge simply by asking for tickets at the desk. Fresh baked cookies were offered at the desk in the early evening, first come first served.
Rooms were made up every day, although sometimes not until mid afternoon, and sometimes not vacuumed.
The Legacy is a non-smoking hotel, but when we returned after a day out, our room smelled strongly of tobacco smoke. At the desk, we were told that it could have been from someone smoking right outside our room. It did not happen again during our nearly two week stay. Two mornings, I wished the shower water was a little hotter. The TV quit working but was fixed immediately. I have mobility problems, and appreciated the roll in shower and the hair drier mounted low enough to be reach while seated. We were not able to print our boarding passes with the hotel’s renter.
We did not use the shuttle or the pool.More
