Sickening smell of their cats in the main hall. Cats exactly on the kitchen worktops, and the sweet little dog that can not help but to lick the kitchen counter. Are there never napkins at meals? Too much work for a single person! Lorena yes...very available but...? Too much work for a single person! Breakfast .... normal, as however by Supermarket. A little more light outside doesn't hurt either with the possibility to turn it on, and be out in the open even at night. A lot of will of the owner. A sincere kiss to Lorena who works too; but a sincere kiss and not a kiss of Judas. For improving. But already She is improving.

Room tip: quite place.

Thanks for your comments some things to clarify.

1. Cats are in the land, we don't let them come inside the kitchen. They have their food at the same time that guests have breakfast to avoid them bother people.

2. The dogs same thing they are never in the kitchen. They are out when the guests are outside. Sometimes the youngest goes out and likes to go to the kitchen. We will pay attention. Same for cats.

3. The main hall is not available for the guests in this moment because we have to renovate it.

4. Sorry for the napkins, we will pay attention.

5. You were expecting a breakfast with 100% of things handmade ? We are not a hotel boutique and still ..... You will not find any in Iguazu for 40-50 usd.

6. We have had many problems with the electricity these last weeks a lot of general cuts so we have had several keys broken. We are changing them.

7. You pay more compared with ?

The problems you are talking about concerns the cats and the dog. The electricity ? It is not our fault the problems in Iguazu, it is the same for everybody believe me that it is not funny because the provider burns equipments and never pays for it. Nothing to see about my personal situation.

Alone or not, I will never offer a very expensive breakfast because our price is medium. Our breakfast is very good compared with other smalls hotels for the same price. What is the problem to buy things in the supermarket ? When we have fruit from here we propose but if it is not the case we are obliged to buy it.

Any of these problems are related with the charge of work, so please don't talk about my private life and don't judge because you don't have the right to do it.

We are hoping to do a big renovation between may and june for the moment it is not possible because it is high season and it is raining a lot.

Thanks anyway we always appreciate the comments of our guests.

We felt like home, Lorena expected us and treated us as we were friends coming to visit. She even made dinner for us. Helped us with our trips to Iguazu, both the Argentinian and Brazilian side. Organised us the transfers and gave us tips what to do and don't do.

Lorena runs a delightful B and B in Iguazu. The rooms are comfortable and the property tropical.
This is an opportunity to have a cultural experience as well as a nice place to stay. Some people enjoy a bubble type vacation stay as is typically offered by the hotel chains. This is NOT one of those types of places.
For a small fee, Lorena will prepare an exquisite dinner for you. Dining is al fresco. Under a mango tree. In season, the mango provides fruit for breakfast and the optional dinner. The banana plants and other fruit trees also provide you with a wonderful breakfast.
I loves the chicken that she prepared. It has been a long time since I tasted a true natural raised fryer/roaster.

We had a lovely time in Iguazu, staying the entire week at Casa Yaguarete with Lorena and her sweet cats and dogs. Lorena was a wonderful hostess, always looking out for our comfort and making sure we had information on local thing to do. She introduced us to a great tour guide for the Brazil side of the falls and gave us great advice and maps for getting around the city and findin restaurants and places to shop. We realy enjoyed the breakfast, with fruit from her own trees and great conversation with the other guests. I would recommend this as a great place to stay when visiting this beautiful area.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Yaguarte. Like everyone on here says - Lorena is a very caring and attentive host and she made our stay very special.
The cabanas were lovely with great airconditioning and wifi. Lorena made breakfast at whatever time we needed it and it was a very generous serve - there's no way we could finish it all! She had great advice about what we should do and helped to arrange taxis for us and to change money.
