We loved everything about the Melia Iguazu. The room was great and the breakfast was above our expectations. We had dinner both nights in the restaurant, the food was excellent and the price was reasonable for the quality and portions. The location and views from the hotel were superb. We had an early start on day two and were the only people on the walkways in the park until about 10:00. Peaceful and quiet because it can get very crowded as we experienced the previous afternoon.
Definitely worth staying at the Melia Iguazu even if it is more expensive than some of the hotels in town. The staff at the desk were very helpful with directions and getting us transportation to and from the airport.

What a fantastic hotel, in a beautiful part of the world and close proximity to the Iguazu Falls. Views of the falls from the hotel made it more special. The staff are exemplary and were polite and attentive to any request during our stay. The breakfast and evening food was good quality and tasty and the spa with indoor pool was lovely.

Sadly we could only stay 1 night but will be back.

My husband, 2 adult kids and I spent 2 nights here as part of our trip to Buenos Aires. By far the Iguazu Falls are an incredible destination not to be missed. The hotel was clean, rooms were nice, nothing special. The construction was a problem. Loud during the day, outdoor pool being renovated which was disappointing - the pool photos looked beautiful when we booked. The staff was the best part of the hotel, very friendly, accommodating and cheerful. We’d recommend due to the amazing staff alone. The location walking distance from the falls is also a huge selling point. Breakfast was included and was top notch.

I stayed at this hotel years ago because it’s the only one inside the National Park in Argentina. It was sadly suffering then for a remodel and things have only gotten worse. Power constantly goes out!!! The staff is nice, friendly and accommodating, but considering the cost of the VERY sad condition rooms, not worth close to the price they demand from individual travelers. I say that because there seems to be a lot of groups at the hotel and I’m sure they’re not paying full price. I don’t blame Melia at all !! Even though my only other Melia stay was in a terrible resort that I had to depart from in the middle of the night due to noise and mold, they are starting to work to renovate this property which fell into sad disrepair under Sheraton. Give it a year, or don’t expect what you paid for!!!
