Nice location and a nice physical structure with large rooms and friendly staff. Unfortunately our room was badly in need of repair particularly the bathroom. The wood trim had over a long period of time suffered water damage and was rotting as was the floor marked by continued water damage.
The towels supplied were torn and threadbare and very grey as they were so old. The chairs in the breakfast room see so worn the wood frame was showing through.
Could be excellent but not in this condition

Roof top pool was lovely and the view is delightful. Being on the Italy Square park is a big plus and good restaurants, amenities are an easy stroll away. Staff is helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for me. Breakfast is included and adequate. We needed some tweaks of our TV and bathtub, and that was done promptly and politely. Bathroom had a mouldy scent and looked like it had experienced flood damage. Good value.

First the positive features. The front desk staff was friendly when we checked in, for some reason we were given an upgrade to a suite. The room was large, with a good sized living room, large bedroom, and adequate sized bathroom, and the suite was clean, except for some spots in the bathroom. As we were visiting Mendoza for a few days, we were not planning to spend much time in the room. The location is good, with Plaza Italia across the street, and a main shopping street one block away. Downtown Mendoza is very walkable, with wide, smooth sidewalks. The room was quiet, and we heard no noise from others rooms, and only the occasional sounds of traffic. The rooftop pool while small is fine for its purpose, but the view of the Andes from the roof is spectacular. There is a gym on the same floor as the pool but we couldn’t find it. Truthfully, we didn’t try that hard to hunt it down. Breakfast comes with room, and is not the best we have had, and not the worst. Toast, pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, jams, coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, and some kind of mystery meat. I couldn’t fiqure out what is was, but it looked like a mixture of wieners and cubes of ham.
Unfortunately this hotel has some problems. On our first night there was a heavy thunderstorm with very gusty winds. Before we knew it, we had a stream of water across the living room floor, a larger creek on the bedroom floor, and the rain had washed grout into the bathtub. I went down to the front desk to nicely report the problem. They assured me that someone would be right up. Well, an hour later I returned to the lobby, and one of the clerks grabbed some towels, came up and wiped up most of the water. He promised that housekeeping would mop up under the bed in the morning. This did not happen. The furniture while not being worn out, has seen better days. The toilet paper dispenser was loose on the wall. The glass shower curtain does not stop water from soaking the floor. The towels could be changed as while clean, were threadbare in places. The WIFI is spotty, and is not dependable. I developed gastrointestinal issues after breakfast the first morning we were here. I can not blame it on the food here, but can not think of anything else that might have caused the problems. When we got to the room, there was a panty liner stuck to the smoke detector in the bedroom, held on place with two bandaids. I can only figure that a previous guest did not like the two faint green lights that flash from the unit, and can not understand how housekeeping missed this. I noticed it as soon as I entered the room. We had to go and get toilet paper from the front desk as housekeeping failed to replenish the roll in the bathroom.
So all in all, a solid three star hotel, adequate as a place if you are visiting for a short stay.

Old is not a problem if a property is looked after and the balance of small details attended to. In this case, not so. The room could sorely use an upgrade. Internet in our room was spotty at best and super-slow. The housekeeping inferior to most all properties in our month long plus stay in Argentina - here getting adequate toilet paper was not a given; neither was shampoo/conditioner. Thread worn towels were quite common, dust balls under beds the norm, seems even getting two glasses in our room a challenge. Breakfast was sub-par as well: the offering of one cold meat was hardly edible, lame cheeses, poor and diluted yogurt(s). The hot meat offering was (once only) small cubes of ham mixed with cubes of wiener meat (every day) = as cheap as you can get!. The only redeeming feature was the front desk staff and most especially the lady (Eugenie); she was very, very good! The rooftop pool possessed not one umbrella so could not be used for any period of time in plus 30 temperatures. Too bad, so sad.

This is hotel is in a great location (across the street for a park and three blocks from great restaurants) The hotel is a little "tired" if you know what i mean but clean. The rooms are oversized with a living area and a separated bedroom. Ideal if you have a family or you are traveling with other couples and want to entertain in your room.
