The place is nice, good location, the presentation of the food is amazing, the service is good and the portions are big, BUT the quality isn't very good. We order asado, vacio, and entraña (hard to chew), the tortilla also not so great, the sweat potatoes fried too dry.
The salad was good and selection of wines was ok.

Another get together with colleagues from all over the world. A number of smaller dishes as starters were generally fine. A very nice dish of fried cheese, a decent morcilla. But unfortunately, the bifes de chorizo that came were badly cooked, nothing like the medium rare that we had requested, more on the well done side. The flavour of the meat itself was fine and this could have been a better dish. Wine was fine. The owners offerd us some limonincello on the house. It was pleasant to sit outside but the food on the whole was not as good as in the other two parrillas that I had visited on the days before.

I lived in Mar del Plata for almost 6 months. La Mulita is my favorite restaurant to go to for a great steak. If you’re already hungry when you get to the restaurant, order a couple empanadas, which are delicious and just enough to tide you over while your steak is on the grill.

For the main course, order the bife de chorizo (sirloin steak). Nearly 3 inches tall, you will simply not believe your eyes. The bife de chorizo is charred on the outside, juicy and cooked to perfection on the inside (I prefer bien cocido, well done). I think it's enough meat to share between two. I also recommend ordering a side of grilled vegetables or a salad.

Finish the meal with the chocolate mousse and a complimentary digestivo (lemoncello pairs particularly well with their chocolate mousse). Definitely make reservations. - Read more about MDP: http://rebeccasinternationalkitchen.com/top-20-restaurants-in-mar-del-plata-argentina/
