“Cementerio San Andres en Chascomus ”

Cementerio San Andres
Reviewed 6 April 2018 via mobile

This is one of the most atmospheric places I have ever visited, it is located out of the town of Chascomus, where it is known as Cementerio Ingles.... though it has stronger roots in the tradition of the Scottish church in Argentina and the Grecian style building was used for worship by the Scots.
If you want to see an incongruous piece of history in a beautiful setting, find this place.

A týpical English Park, this cemetary is filled with all the Brits that came to Chascomús (Irish, Scotish, English). The place itself is in the middle of the country, making it all the more sublime. The temple, a neo roman architecture, is both humble and stunning at the same time. A great place to visit.

Thank Lucio M
