We stayed at Kilca for about 2 weeks, due to its great rate and accessible parking for motorcycles in the courtyard. There aren't too many affordable places downtown and Kilca offers cheap accommodations as well as an owner who is great to help out with whatever needs one might have. Make sure you book your first night in via on-line booking for guaranteed reservations. The beds weren't super comfortable, and the heater in our room didn't work, but the hot water in the showers was excellent! Breakfast was a little inconsistent, but not a big deal, as it is close to great bakeries, cafes, and restaurants. It's mostly the company that makes this place great - non-pretentious, friendly, knowledgeable, and laidback staff - as well as the type of clientele that it attracts. It's not 4-star but it's a good place to stay downtown, and very welcoming for motorcyclists.

This is the best place in BA for moto people, and its very good value at $10USD per day. Kilca was great - its setup in a turn of the century mansion. I met the owner the first day and he let me store my motorcycle for free for a few days while I was away on the other side of the city. The open courtyards are fantastic, the wifi strong and the breakfast is quite good. Its a small place with just a few private rooms and big, fun dorms. This is not a party place but does fill up and has a mellow vibe where you can relax without much noise. The owner was super chill and allowed me to do moto repairs including oil change in the courtyard. Several other moto people were here and we had a super Asado with 10 people that was really super - no charge to use the excellent grilling facilites. I WOULD stay here again

I do not recommend people to stay there. The neighborhood is good but the cleanliness and the quality of sevices is pretty poor. As other people say, there are instects, breakfast is very inconsistant, the bathroom was broken while I was there, the matresses are pretty dirty, the bar has no drinks because the fridge is broken.

Room Tip: I recommand looking for other options in the neiborhood, San telmo is a good neiborhood.

Just like i said in the headline, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME !
the place has an awesome vibe, Guido is awesome and the staff here are like crazy awesome !
I mean its in a perfecct place, me I love parties so like its in montserrat I can just go to the next area san telmo and party crazy or i could just take a 20 minutes bus in the corner of the hostel and go to palermo to still party crazy !
And around you have all you need reastaurant, groceries etc.
Duriing day time its quiet and thats what i want with the hangover i get . But during nighttime People are so fun to talk and we drink together then go out.
this place is loco.
The staff there are awessome, here from everywhere which means you get to know more !
Like with the venezuelan i learned how to make arepas then with the irish how to make real irish cofee(which is with whisky), and the canadian ,well his just a party animal (7 days out of 7)
The managers name is Guido, i dont know what the name means in spanish but in english it looks like guide,so yeah that guy knows evrything just like a guide , like where to visit when to go and much more.
So in conclusion i will definitely go back and crash and party !

I came to buenos aires randomly and met many friends here. Travelled together and back in hostel again. Cuz we miss here. Staff are kind and the location is good and quiet.
Not a big party but enjoyed lunch at the out side and beer at the lounge
And the cat is so cute

Room Tip: Dorm was fine and other dorms have upper level quiet good
