“A museum on a cementery...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2012

This cememtery has a lot of history....it was and still is a very important place for certain society groups in Buenos Aires. The main attraction is that it looks like a small city...and the mausolea are amaizing...big and extravagant. It is recommended to go on saturday and after the cementery visit Plaza francia, where a handycraft fair takes place just near the cementery

“Worth a quick peek”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2012

This will only take you half an hour to go through, but it is interesting. Be aware that it is FREE to get into the cemetery, but many people will try and force you to pay for a map or donate to some fund.

“A must see in BA”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2012

You won't find anything like this anywhere else in the world. A city of the dead (and wealthy), who went in style. The architecture inside the cemetary, really gives the rest of Recoleta a run for it's money.
