Our return flight to the U.S. was cancelled so we needed to spend the night in BA. So, we made a last minute call to the hotel and they were able to get us a room. The room itself was really huge and very well appointed. We were very comfortable. The room was a little warm so I tried to lower the a/c but nothing happened. We asked at the desk and were told that they control it for the entire hotel and couldn't change anything. So, we opened the window and that worked despite allowing a lot of street noise. We were exhausted from our travels and slept through breakfast but we called down and they sent up a huge room service breakfast (included in room cost) that was wonderful. There wasn't a hair dryer in the room and when we called they sent one right away. No mini bar or coffee service in the room which seems odd for a hotel of this caliber. They arranged a car to take us to the airport and that worked great. Overall I highly recommend.

This small yet quite luxurious hotel is located in the beautiful Recoleta neighborhood, which is pretty much where you want to be staying in Bs. As. The building itself is beautiful, with a very classic style, and the room was INSANELY HUGE, offering everything you would expect. Breakfast was nice and included.

The most important thing, however, is the amazing personnel, being always extremely warm, helpful, and professional.

Will definitely stay here again when I go back to this wonderful city

Booked last minute as could not abide the hotel I had been booked into. The staff at reception could not have been more friendly or helpful, including getting the room ready early. They even tried to get my luggage, which was unexpectedly arriving on a later flight than me, diverted to my new hotel.

The room (32) was spacious and comfortable. The spa bath worked perfectly although trying to get the plug out afterwards was a bit of an issue. Am also never sure the point of an empty mini bar. Nevertheless it still gets top marks. The restaurant is also excellent. But my biggest praise goes to the staff, all of them, from night porter, to reception, to the restaurant. They were a pleasure

Our stay at Hotel Club Frances was perfect. From the warm, accomodating staff (who allowed us to check in early after our 4:30am arrival) to the spacious and clean bedroom and bathroom, the trip couldn't have gone better. We followed staff recommendations to a night of tango, a city tour, and nearby restaurants - they were "right on" for all of them! The location is great. It was often a short cab ride or 10-minute walk to most of the attractions or restaurants we visited. In our travels through Peru and Argentina, we found the people at this hotel were the warmest, most helpful, and friendliest- just what you need when far from home. I highly recommend staying at Club Hotel Frances during your visit to Buenos Aires.

*sidenote: I would also recommend changing some money to Argentine pesos prior to visiting, as it wasn't easy to do once there, and most taxis won't accept credit cards.

Thank you very much for your review and recommendation. Every time it´s possible we try to give the early check in, we know how long the trip is and try to start with excellent news. Though not every time we can do so whenever possible we try to accommodate.
We are very happy that you had such a great time with us!
Warm regards

Spent first two nights in Buenos Aires at Hotel Club Frances. Arrived early morning having flown from Dublin via Madrid 14 hour trip. Received a warm welcome at Reception though room would not be ready till 1pm. This is an old world style style hotel, lovely older building with rich wood paneled walls and floors. I was quickly cheered when told my room was to be upgraded. Friendly staff, one of whom Rose Angela stood out. She was charming, polite and so helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her whether it was organizing a taxi, restaurant, places to visit or venues to eat. I also received good advice on safe and good locations to change money. She and Fiona spoke excellent English and helped make my short stay most enjoyable. Rooms were of good standard, comfortable bed, air con TV, WiFi etc all available and breakfast was pretty good too. The location in Recoleta is excellent, with lots of shops, cafes, bars and clubs. In fact the area is a good base from which to explore the sights and delights of Buenos Aires, many of which are reachable on foot from the Hotel

Room Tip: Recoleta is a quiet settled district so many of the rooms re restful with a gentle atmosphere
