We stayed 2 nights, eating in the hotel one one of these. Both food and service were excellent. The menu gives a choice of a tasting menu (with, or without, matching wines), or a la carte. We weren’t sufficiently hungry to opt for the tasting menu, ordering the 18 hour cooked lamb instead; we had no regrets. It was very good.
The portion sizes aren’t as large as those served by most Argentinian restaurants, but that’s no bad thing - most serve too much food which is frequently very wasteful.
Don’t be deterred by the external appearance which is a little odd, even for a boutique hotel. The rooms are quite large, modern and well appointed. An iPhone music dock is provided as are tea and coffee making facilities. The room benefit from two fridges offering a choice of several different 75cl bottles of wine - this is an excellent facility. Beers, soft drinks and nibbles are, of course, also available.
Best breakfast of any hotel on our trip - everything is cooked to order if a hot breakfast is taken (great coffee too).
The staff are very friendly and obliging - nothing, it seemed, was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. More
