I've been telling my partner for years how great the steak is in Buenos Aires - so she ordered ribs... I ordered the house special - a one and a half inch thick T-bone. The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked medium rare. My partner said the ribs were great - not too sweet. We ordered a bottle of Argentinean chardonnay - not bad but not as good as the Chilean chardonnay we drank the previous evening in Santiago.
Great position overlooking the water. Overall, a pleasant evening and we were glad we had a 2km walk back to the hotel.

Thank Brett J

The food, setting and waiter service was brilliant!
Be warned though that the starter dishes are main course sized! The garlic prawn start was wonderful, I shared a main of gigantic ribs with my daughter and still we couldn't eat them all after a main! The steaks were suculle

Lovely view of the river from our table, service was kinda average. The eye filet steak was large, perfectly cooked and very nice.

We ate dinner at this restaurant and enjoyed having a riverfront view with a lovely sailing vessel nearby.

For the appetizer we had beef empanadas which were okay. The meat was a bit fatty and the sauce not to our taste. The salad was a nice bowl to be shared between the two of us. Interesting how salad dressing is not common in South America. The oil and vinegar was average. The bread was very good.

For the main course, my husband’s steak was perfect. Mine was very fatty and I would have asked for another but the wait staff was rarely around. The house Malbec was fantastic.

I would choose a better parrilla next time instead of opting for a view.

We had a good table looking out to the river. We ordered Caesar salad and then of course steak, washed down with a very good Mendoza Malbec.
Sadly the Caesar salad was not freshly made. We even thought it could have been left over from the night before.
The steak was a disappointment, rather fatty.
No desire to return.
