We recently stayed for four nights at this excellent hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable, the breakfast was the best we had in Argentina, including a choice of cooked eggs any style, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, cheerful and helpful. All of the staff we met had excellent English. One comment - alcohol purchased from the hotel is quite expensive (relative to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants). Overall though, the hotel provides fantastic value-for-money.

Room Tip: We had a street-facing room and at first were a bit apprehensive about noise, but it was not an issu...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Duque Hotel for a few days in May 2012. The staff were very courteous helpful. They provided us with recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing, and tango shows. The breakfast includes fresh eggs any style and a wide variety of accompaniments. The hotel is a tastefully remodeled building on a quiet street. The room we stayed in was very clean and well finished with everything we needed. Small things such as accent lighting, tasteful décor, use of hotel bicycles, and overall comfort make this hotel an excellent place to stay.

This is a great boutique hotel where the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are quaint and clean, and the beds are comfortable. The subway/subte stop is a few blocks away, although this hotel is an easy walk to many of the restaurants, shops, bars and clubs that Palermo has to offer. They have a simple yet filling breakfast, with fresh fruit, pastries, toast, and eggs made to order. Trying to fit in with the BA lifestyle with late dinners and even later nights out, we liked the access to the 24 hour help-yourself espresso/coffee machine. We would definitely stay here again, and hopefully be able to enjoy some of the spa services next time.

We were on the second leg of our BA trip and were looking forward to our stay and something nice after being in iguazu and a more simple hotel. Hotel location is excellent, service excellent, very clean, decent breakfast, great style, coffee and cakes available all day, free wifi. The disappointments were that the classic room was tiny, too small for two people, with no real window, well there were windows covered in material and when you opened them you were looking into another internal part of the hotel. Air con rattled which was annoying in the night. Pool areas shaded. We asked if we could change our room but whilst helpful they were fully booked, we had paid up front so we couldn't move hotels. We still enjoyed our stay but we wouldnt return out of chouce. If you want to go to a ranch we recommend the Los hermanos ranch over the hotels recommended option.

Hello John,

We are sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay with us as much as we had wanted.
We are sad that you didn’t like our classic rooms’ size but as for being a boutique hotel we can’t have larger rooms and mostly all of our guests find them cozy and charming that’s why most of them choose us. Regarding your requesting for changing rooms, I showed your wife other classic room that was at the back of the hotel facing the back garden and pool and she decided to stay in the room you were already assigned. As you can see we did everything in our reach to make you feel as comfortable as we could and we are sorry we could fill your expectations. We hope all the best for you and thank you for posting your feedback.

I just echo what pretty much every other review has said. The staff are absolutely top notch - friendly, informative and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and cleanliness is immaculate. The only slight negative is that my room was a little noisy as people moved around in corridors and room next door - but it was 09.30, so I should have been up and exploring the city!
