There are three "Paços" or "Stations of the cross" (mid 18th century processional chapels) in different locations around Borba. They are beautiful even when closed, and architecturally more important than the ones existing in Vila Viçosa or even Évora. Unfortunately they have been submitted to a local restorer, probably in the mid 20th century - so the frescos and paintings inside need urgent intervention as to reverse the damage... Still worth a visit.
