Overall, we had a great experience doing an intro dive with Orca. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and they made sure we were prepared before we went out to the dive site. The only negative part of the experience was the boating and putting on our equipment. The boat was small and not suitable for diving; it was not operated by the dive company, either. We had to get off the boat and swim in the water (which was quite choppy due to high boat traffic) while putting on our gear. This was not an easy task. The boat driver and dive instructor seemed to have some miscommunication, and at one point the boat started moving and I had to quickly move out of the way of the engine; I did not feel safe and questioned whether I should just get back in the boat and not do the dive. The dive site itself was beautiful with lots of sea life and coral. Overall, it was a good experience, but the boating situation could be improved.
