We visited after reading the reviews and weren't disappointed. Maybe the wrong night there was only us and one other couple who were in the garden and we couldn't even see them. It was like we were the only ones in the restaurant.
We first had a drink at the bar and had a great chat with Wayan the bar man, who had lovely manners and great conversation.
On going to our table we ordered our food which was good, except I order the Australian Lamb which I wouldn't normally do in Bali but after being there for 4 weeks I really wanted something different. The lamb was served with a lovely mashed potato and vegetables but was smothered. In a very dark balsamic sauce so you could see the colour of the meat which was cutlets. They were a little over cooked quite tough, but along with the cutlets were some other pieces of what I think was lamb but it was mainly bone and fat which made this meal not enjoyable. I would suggest just serve the cutlets and please do not over cook them and you would have a great meal. In saying all that my husband's meal and bread roll (complementary) were really nice. The restaurant itself was very pretty and clean and you can see the chefs cooking from the dining area.
All the staff were lovely.
We will return next time.
