We only made a brief stop, but with the temperature heading towards 37C when we saw the shady garden of Montague House, the temptation to stop for a drink was too much! It's only a couple of hundren metres from the main central crossroads of the town, in the direction of the Swartburg Pass. I chose the home made lemonade which was most refreshing. It looked like ice cream concoctions are strongly featured. A nice quiet shady garden set back a bit from the road - we didn't go inside but it seemed quite spacious when I came to settle up.
