My family and I had the pleasure to stay at Constantia Villa for a week. House was very clean, smartly appointed, and a great space for our three young children.
Fantastic and safe property where we could let the kids roam and explore. Beautiful gardens, avocado and like trees, full laundry (line dry) and everything you could want in the kitchen. Minutes from several wineries and the Constantia wine route.
I would hands down stay here again if I have the fortune of travelling to Cape Town with the family in the future.
Would recommend the Constantia Village for your groceries and supplies, as there is a large Woolworth's and Pick N Pay, in addition to an organic shop and biltong.
Property manager Moussa was helpful and reliable and always kept the place in tip top shape!
My family have just enjoyed a wonderful 10 days at this villa and particularly enjoyed dining outside on the porch. The facilities provided are excellent considering the very reasonable price and the flexibility offered with the additional 1 bed cottage made this an absolute winner for us with different friends and family joining us during our holiday. The location is ideal for the CBD/waterfront, the southern suburbs and the Fish Hoek/Simonstown coast if you intend to see the penguins.
The house manager Mussah is incredibly helpful but if like us you prefer a bit more privacy, he was also happy to leave us to it. The owner John went above and beyond to be helpful and make our holiday a succes. Even lending us a travel cot for the remainder of our holiday when we stayed in different accommodation!
All in all I would absolutely recommend the accommodation for anyone looking for a secure and easy living house with good facilities in a great location without breaking the bank.
We stayed in a group with 4 couples and were happy that all the rooms were equally nice and roomy! The house is comfortable, clean and welcoming, with a well equipped kitchen and barbecue, and felt very safe and relaxing. Rooms are light and airy, the garden has a lovely pool and some great flowers. The house is well situated for driving into Cape Town, or out to the coast.
John and Mussah couldn't have been more helpful. John gave us lots of ideas and great recommendations in advance of things to see and also where to go before and after the Cape Town section of our holiday. One day we went out and left washing on the line and while we were out it rained heavily. We expected when we arrived back to have bedraggled soggy laundry on the line, but Mussah had noticed the rain and very kindly brought it all in for us - we really appreciated this thoughtfulness!
We had a nice and relaxing time in this area. Everything was fine and all my clients was happy during our stay in Cape Town.
Thank you for the presents of welcome.
The Housemanager was also friendly and helpful, he is a good man.
This is a well appointed, comfortable and spacious accommodation with very good daily staff. The house, although in a residential area of Constantia, is relatively quiet with a reasonable sized garden and a small pool. The bedrooms are a good size with excellent cupboard space provided. There are two bathrooms in the main house and a large kitchen with the necessary white goods and utensils. The dining facilities are part of the open plan with the sitting room and there is an additional table and chairs for alfresco dining on the stoop looking over the pool and the garden
