Amazing stay, very good apartments. From the balcony every morning we got the view of sea lions. The apartments are so well furnished, with all the best amenities. It is located just opposite to the best place that is the waterfront area of cape town. A small bridge and we reach the best place.
It is a very good deal for the price we paid.
I miss the late sunrises. This place will stay close to me as we celebrated my husband's 30th birthday.

We booked a two-bedroom on the 6th floor. Overall very happy with this apartment. Very modern and neat with clean towels and linen. Bathrooms were spacious and clean. Short walk to Waterfront bars, restaurants and shopping. Very secure complex.

Large balconies on both sides too. We felt good the second we entered this apartment.

Fast internet connection, which was a nice change from some of the other places we have visited in SA.

Only problem we had was a minor one, very few plug points so had to move some furniture around in order to plug in our laptops.

Room Tip: Ask for a floor near the top, with views.

We are a married UK couple in our 50's and we stayed at these amazing apartments for 8 nights in February. From the moment we booked until we were dropped off at the airport to go home we were treated with the utmost courtesy and consideration. In our eyes Lionie is the star of the company! She was so helpful and lovely to talk to. Nothing we requested was ever too much trouble for her.

The apartment itself was super modern, spotlessly clean (and I am a compulsive clean freak!) and had a lovely new smell to it! We never saw the housekeepers, we would go out for the day and when we returned it was as if the apartment had been cleaned and made up by magic! The bed was beautifully comfortable and the towels were luxurious and plentiful. There were a few provisions left for us to get us started like milk, teabags and coffee. Other things we needed we bought from a shop at a nearby petrol station or at a huge supermarket within the V&A shopping centre. The only problem was carrying it back so don't buy too much unless you're out travelling in the car.

We sat around the larger swimming pool a few times which was very nice. Sometimes it was difficult to get into the area as our swipe cards didn't operate the security doors there but we just asked some kind residents and they let us through. The pool area has a lovely view over the marina and we always found some loungers to lie on. One niggle was a male resident who chatted constantly on his mobile phone, he was very inconsiderate to those around him and was annoyingly there on 2 occasions! We sat as far from him as possible the second time!

The location of the Mountain Marina apartments is superb. It took us 6 to 7 minutes to stroll over to the main hub of the V&A Waterfront where all the shops, restaurants and entertainment is. The open top tour bus commences just a 5 minute walk away too right next o the aquarium. We always felt very safe walking around this area, in fact all over Cape Town city centre. There are a few persistent beggars but we just ignored them until they got fed up and left us alone. The apartments are very hard to get into without an official entry card so it always felt very safe once we were within the grounds.

We loved seeing and hearing the seals which congregated around the marina (the smell was not so good but not a problem at all!!). Sometimes they would lie around on the back of the posh boats just below us which was a fascinating experience! One of the nicest things for us was sitting on our huge veranda eating our breakfast and looking out at the view over the marina.

The one thing that I would not recommend purchasing is the internet service. We may have been unlucky but the package we bought that we calculated would last us several days was used up overnight. It wasn't that cheap either! It made us wonder if someone in the vicinity had the 'log on key' to the wi-fi that we were using because we had hardly used any data ourselves! We didn't purchase any more after that for fear of it happening again. Free wi-fi that is working is not easy to find in Cape Town. A lot of the restaurants and cafe's that we ate and drank in said their wi-fi was either down or not working! Most places didn't even have it!

There are not many Tripadvisor reviews for these apartments which is why I wanted to put this one on! If you are considering booking an apartment here, do not hesitate! It truly is the nicest city accommodation we have ever stayed in! There are several different options of apartment size depending on the needs of your family. You will be treated like royalty! Take advantage of airport taxi service they provide. The cost was well worth it and there's no worry about it not turning up.

Once again, thank you Lionie for such a wonderful service you provided. We wish you well in your career in tourism.

Room Tip: The whole complex is well positioned and every apartment would have good views of either the mountains and canal or the marina

This is a complex of super luxurious apartments , fully furnished and with a fully equipped kitchen . We stayed at a three bedroom apartment, which suited our family of two couples and two kids perfectly . The apartments had a gorgeous view of the waterfront and the table mountain ! So much better than staying at a hotel ! Unlimited wi fi access for a nominal charge , free cleaning service and equipped with a large TV, home theatre system, Blu ray player , and sit out spaces , this was a really comfortable stay ! Yes one can cook meals if one wants and departmental stores are a stone's throw away . The V & A waterfront is walking distance which makes eating out and exploring the city a total breeze ! Would definitely recommend it over cramped hotel rooms for those travelling with families .
