My husband and I had all of our Breakfasts and Dinners at the Mint during our stay at The Taj Hotel where food and service were both excellent. Breakfast was Buffet style with plenty of options: continental style or hot breakfast with plenty of choices for beverage. Dinner was my husband's favorite (Meat Platter). There's certainly plenty of wines available. Wait time for our dinner was 10 minutes on average.

Outdoors seating was available which puts the diner in the vicinity of the St. George's Mall. The outdoor experience was more noisy, with plenty of activities to watch around you. Sometimes it could be very windy. The indoor ambiance was quieter. Because the restaurant is small, it's not too crowded (except for breakfast when most hotel guests eat here). The wait staff were very attentive to our needs.

I consider dining here as mid-range pricing, which is not too bad, considering this place is in a 5-star hotel. We definitely love our dining experience at The Mint restaurant.

Came here for lunch in between the free walking tours. Super friendly and efficient staff. Something for everyone on the relatively small menu. I had a fabulous ‘bunny chow’, the children tried both the parathas, which were divine as were the ribs and salmon carpaccio. Good wine list and lovely servers. Sat inside the open area which was very cool on a warm day.

I had gone there primarily to have indian food but was disappointed with the menu as it hardly has any Indian dishes. Ordered some fish and was impressed by the taste and presentation.
Good food but limited menu options. Service can improve as it is a trifle slow. Ambience is good.

Our hotel, Mandela Rhodes (across the street), gave us free breakfast vouchers to 3 different food places. After trying each of them, Mint was definitely my favorite! They have such a big and diverse spread of quality, delicious food!
