The St. George's Cathedral is a very beautiful church which is located right at the heart of Cape Town. It's right at the Government Square, close to The Company's Gardens and very, very accessible if you're visiting Cape Town Central.

My husband and I stayed right across the church (The Taj) and we took a beautiful photo of the church from our room and beautiful view of Cape Town surrounding this church.

As a person who's travelled thousands of miles to come to Cape Town, one should pay a visit to Desmond Tutu's church. It's Just Perfect!

What an interesting, big, beautiful piece of architecture. The stain glass windows are works of art, the history is amazing and you can also attend mass and eat at the restaurant.

We came during Easter week so they had palm leaves on display which was amazing. The stained glass windows look beautiful. Great to walk around taking it all in.

I attended a said mass on Sunday (8-9 am) and totally enjoyed the service. You can also visit on weekdays to admire the beautiful architecture and proceed to visit company gardens right beside the cathedral. There is a huge arch beside the church which was built in honour of Archbishop Desmond Tutu (An Arch for an Arch). Feel free to take photos from there as well.
