small place for locals, you have one resturant and one seel that gets food every second, hope that somene will realise this pour animal. the champans drive is very beatifoul, you need to pay to go throught this road, when you get to hout bay just turn around.. unless you like a not clean hrabur and greesy food/

Took a drive out to Hour Bay to enjoy Fish & Chips. Beautiful day was enhanced by delightful and colourful characters - from kids fishing (a big bag full catch), a banjo playing duo entertaining the holiday makers, and playful seals tricking & treating the visitors. Fish & Chips were so fresh and delicious! Worth the drive.

The port here at Hout Bay is still a working port and so there is a hustle and bustle which is quite attractive. The area around the port is a little tacky not improved by the fish and chip shops and cheap souvenir places. The beach is lovely as is the bay and you can get a terrific lunch at Dunes across the other side of the beach. Easy to get to by bus from CapeTown - takes about 45 minutes.
