A lovely hotel with excellent views. Checked into my room, was very hot and air conditioner not working. Asked the front desk to look into it, they promised they would. Next day the air is still not on. Asked the front desk a second time and received the same promise. That day lunched at their restaurant (great view); asked for my food to be prepared without onions (allergic); they said no problem. Brought the dish with onions. I complained and received no reaction whatsoever, not to mention an offer not to charge money for the meal. In the evening returned to my room. Still no air conditioning. Next day was checkout. Complained to the manager. They did offer to take the meal off the bill. Said was very surprized the air was not fixed and said she hoped I would stay with them again. I doubt that I will.

A superb hotel with excellent levels of service from all members of staff. Management are very friendly and aim to make sure everyone gets the most from their stay at this Waterfront location. Rooms with ocean views have the added bonus of waking up to dolphins and seals travelling the seas adjacent to Green Point. The heated infinity pool provides a refreshing break from the Cape Town sun, whilst Spa and Gym cater for those who want to concentrate on their 'body beautiful'! A short walk from V and A Waterfront amenities in one direction but also superb location for Green Point Stadium - we booked Lady Gaga tickets 2 days before performance and could not believe the ease of access to event - no overcrowded roads or jostling en route to event - quite a contrast to London concerts. We will definitely return to this super hotel who know how to foster the Art of relaxation.

Room Tip: Oceanfront rooms offes the views and sounds of the sea

Husband and I just returned from vacation in South Africa. We have stayed in many Radisson Blu properties throughout the worls and the Radisson Blu in Vape Town once again did not dissappoint! The location is just a 25 to 30 minute drive from the airport. It is nestled right below table mountain and is in walking distance to the V& A Water Front. Although there is a shuttle to the water front every hour from the front door of the hotel. We stayed in a busness class room which was very clean and nicely decorated. The busbess class room include breakfast which is an extensive buffet. There is indoor and outdoor dining. The fitness facility equipment was clean and in good condition and had a great view of the harbor.
The staff at this hotel makes it above and beyond other hotels. Each and every staff member was friendly and really showed the "Yes we can " attitude Radisson promotes.
Shaun at the front desk is a great help. Take him up on the drive from the hotel to the Cape of good hope. It is an easy drive with wonderful views and his directions flawless. (we found the signs throughout Cape town to be very easy to follow and therefore driving on the left much less stressful than anticipated.
Have Shaun or other staff member make you a reservation at The Grand. It is walking distance of the hotel,between the hotel and the water front. It is a really cool resturaunt on the beach!

I am an avid traveller so it takes a lot to impress me. This is a great hotel. The view was breath-taking, customer service was great, food was great, I could go on forever. The hotel provided a super convenient shuttle that takes you to the waterfront every hour.

I cant find one thing that I didn't like. The only minor hiccup was that we struggled a bit with the internet connection in our room.

I'd definitely stay there again.

Rooms are very good size. When booking, ask for seaview. Every member of the team was friendly, engaging and helpful. The breakfast team was the best ever seen. They indeed are stars!
A 5 minutes walk from the V&A. Nespresso in the room.
Perfect hotel for a stay near the Waterfront
