Went on two outings. The first was to the Cape Point National Park where we walked the Shipwreck Trail, and stopped by Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. Later on we drove to Boulders to see the penguins. The second was a hike up Table Mountain starting at the western face, through echo valley and ending at the cable car. It goes without saying that the views were spectacular. Binny was a great guide who knows the trails at the back of her hand and showed us points of interest that we wouldn’t have found had we done the hike on our own. Her patience, encouragement, safety-consciousness and wealth of experience (and snacks!) made the outings thoroughly enjoyable and informative. Hiking with Ridgway Ramblers would be great for all levels of experience but particularly useful for newer hikers or first-timers to Cape Town as Binny makes astute recommendations and decisions based on the group strength and what they are hoping to achieve for the day. Thanks for everything, Binny!
