This apartment is fantastic. I love the décor. All the online pictures of this place are true to life. The rental is one of the two apartments on its level, so it takes up about half of the floor that it is on. As a result, you get a great view of the mountains, the city and the waterfront. You have an outstanding outlook of the city during the day and at night.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have doors that open to a balcony. There are chairs and a table on the deck/balcony. When the weather is nice, it’s great to have a drink or a meal outside. It has a fully equipped kitchen, so you can get groceries and stay in and cook if you like.
The apartment comes with its own parking space(s) in a secured garage, but you don’t really need a car. There is so much within walking distance. A great café is a 2 minute walk away, a supermarket is a 3 minute walk away, Cape Quarter Lifestyle Village shopping center is 10 minutes away by foot and several restaurants and shops are within a few minutes’ walk. The V&A Waterfront is home to many shops, restaurants, leisure activities, the marina and harbor. It is also only about a 10 minute walk away.
Mike provided us with a few essentials to get started. The concierge, Stephen, at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. He helped us into the apartment and then helped us get our luggage into a taxi when we were leaving. A little while after we checked in, Joy stopped by to assist us in settling in and answer any of our questions. Additionally, I found the price was very reasonable. It was cheaper than several other 3 bedroom rentals I saw when I was looking.
Overall, we had a wonderful time in Cape Town. This is an exceptional apartment in an excellent location. If I return to Cape Town, I definitely want to stay here again. This is one of the best vacation rentals I have booked.
