We spent 3 nights here for a family wedding. It is a smart but relaxed hotel with easy access to Cape Town. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

A couple of things to be aware of: it's a popular wedding venue but hotel careful to ensure this doesn't affect other guests. The hotel's transport service while convenient is very expensive - we were charged 525 rand for a trip that cost 175 rand coming back in a local cab. If you don't have a car I would suggest getting an airport cab rather than ask them to pick you up from the airport (hotel very well known) and using local cab companies (such as intercab).

Room Tip: Sea facing rooms lovely but there is a road between you and the ocean

I recently stayed at this beautiful resort with mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. The rooms were beautifully furnished with excellent amenities. The included breakfasts consisted of hot and cold items in a beautiful dining room. Dinner at the Azure Restaurant with the Flight of Wines was excellent and a special treat. The high tea was charming. The staff, especially Patience, was so accomodating and helpful. If there was one drawback it was that it was 15 minutes out of Cape Town but they did have complimentary shuttle service. If I return to Africa I would definitely stay here again. I loved the experience and beauty of the place.

Room Tip: I think every room had a view but centrally located rooms had complete water views whereas the rooms...

My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at the Twelve Apostles with a two week stay from March 4-18. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special. I have never stayed in a hotel where the staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem and they were so attentive and made you feel so special. The setting is spectacular and the shuttle bus was an added bonus which we used nearly every day into V & A and Camps Bay (Shawn always played lovely music on the way back). Everything was spotlessly clean and the turndown service in the evening was a lovely touch. Our bed was one of the best I have slept in and the shower was amazing as were the breakfasts. It was a real home from home.
I would love to return to this hotel again in the near future and would certainly recommend it.

We stayed at the Twelve Apostles in Camps Bay just after x mas and over the new year. What a wonderful experience it was. The standard of the food and the rooms are excellent . This is to be expected in a hotel of this category . However , what made our stay so special was the ambiance of the hotel and the charisma of the staff. The hotel was built into the cliffs on the Camps bay coastline in the 1920's and this gives it an "old world " hollywood feel about it.The staff match this with ther courtesy and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There were also some lovely personal touches over the new year such as champagne in guest rooms and a New Years eve reception with bagpipes on the hotel balcony overlookng the ocean.Dont' bother staying anywhere else. you'll only be disappointed.!
