If you are looking for an authentic, desert people experience, head on up London Bridge Road to Stagger Lees. Full of lots of interesting, friendly desert folk, you will walk in a stranger and walk out a friend... Of somebody... Not sure who but it will be a memorable experience. Best views of the lake and the sand swept dunes, I hear they will have a full liquor license soon and they are now serving food with plans to expand the menu. They also have the friendliest and sassiest bartender in Havasu. Definitely worth the short yet scenic drive to get there.

First off, Stagger Lees is a bar and quick order stop. They have inexpensive taps, bottles, wines, champagne, and more to come. Their are about 6-7 taps and one of them features a local brewery called Mudshark's Beer: Full Moon. I enjoy Blue Moon, but find this beer even better. There is a happy hour, but even before that the prices are low.

Great juke box and pinball machine.

Your dogs are welcome in the covered outside patio.

Sunday BBQs are featured in November from 2-6: great burgers and potato salad.
The menu features some great sandwiches like Cuban Steak on a hoagie, pulled pork or beef burritos, nachos, hot doughy pretzels, and an Cajun sausage on a roll that might soon disappear if I am the only one eating it. The pizzas are small and come frozen, but you can add ingredients (pepperoni is free for the adding) before they are cooked. Most menu items run from $3-$5.

Wednesdays from 5-8 there is entertainment, at least right now in November. Great Country Classics and Classic Rock......think everything from Marty Robbins through Hank Williams Jr., and right up to Ricky Nelson and the songwriters and singers of the 70s who's words and stories were still important. I am not a big fan of this kind of stuff because performances can be so bad. However, this singer has all the right sounds and plays great guitar. On Wednesdays I am there.

Your bartenders are friendly and you can get sass and give it. This is a local folk bar and very laid back. If you want fancy and higher prices, this is not the place.

A couple of convenience stores near by and a super golf course (The Refuge) and country club right across the street. The mall is about 2 miles away and there are several motels close by. Downtown Lake Havasu City is about 8 miles away. THis bar is located in the little town of Desert Hills.
