This may be the Fairmont Hotel, but its still a buffet. They had choices from Indian to Italian,Sushi and Roast Beef. They all were ok, but little better. The staff was great and the wine selection is good. If this wasn't the only restaurant available to us, we wouldn't have eaten here. The rest of the folks seemed to like the buffet aspect, but personally I could do without it.

Grest restaurant. Terrible food. Worst butter chicken ever. The chef was so stingy with the lamb when manning the carvery. Desserts also left alot to be desired. Not worth paying for the buffet in summary. Rather have the a la carte.

Breakfast at this restaurant was also dissapointing. There was a very plastic taste to the omelette. Could be due to the eggs being out at room temp for a long while. Will not go back even if i stay at the hotel again.

Breakfast was good and their muesli is divine. There was less variety at lunch and the food was just ok but the salads were always fresh.

What a fantastic breakfast buffet! Pricey if you are if you are not staying in the hotel, but really really good!! Will definitely be back and bring our kids next time.

Coral Tree is based in the main hotel on Zimbali estate. The ambience is warm with friendly service and lovely decor - as with the rest of this beautiful hotel.

There is a buffet on offer with sushi, stir fries, a Italian section/ pasta bar and some South African staples. When we were at dinner, a set menu with a few various options were available for starters, mains and desserts. You could choose to do 2 or 3 courses.

I chose the prawns - which were good, but not exceptional. The gelato dessert was very good.

Keep in mind the operating times for the venue, as they are unfortunately not open throughout the day - I found this a bit of an issue.

A nice experience, but I must say, I expected more.
