Went primarily to this resort to watch the Beatlemania show in the iZulu theatre which was really great and the act was on par with other live tribute performances we have seen at the same venue. Before the show we ate at one of the many restaurants and afterwards had a few drinks. Enjoyed the evening.

This has to be one of the most uninspiring Sun International resorts there are. It’s got an average size casino and one or two restaurants and a few takeaway options. There is also a night club that opens over the weekend. The pool area is great and fun to lounge around in and the area around there is very classy, so marked up a star for that

We came through over the Jan period ,unfortunately most of the casino is under construction,so was a lot of noise ,inside it looks like it can be quite a lovely place, sure once the renovation are complete .will be nice ,we also walked through to the beach area nice area outside to relax on the grass just before the beach

Gosh standards have really dropped at this once well renowned restaurant . We still remember the yummy stir fries being prepared and the wide variety of delicious meals that would leave one drooling! Had a buffet dinner here last night , salads were wilting and soggy , fish was dry, ribs were just too fatty. Ice cream tasted powdery, as though it had melted in the KZN heatwave and had been refrozen . The vegetarian spring rolls were nice and lamb sausage . The staff are not very friendly and welcoming , where have all the smiling staff disappeared to ? Not really worth the cost of meals here

we arrive there and my mum puts in a R100 note (not much but like i say its the principle of the matter) then the screen comes up with some error on the machine, i take her card and put it in another machine to see if the money she put in goes onto her card and the card says "game in progress"... after much "technical" assistance we were told that my mum played her money for 10 minutes, when i said lets go see the cameras, i was told we must contact the National Gambling Board, why?? when we can sort it right there and then... i am bitter as they point blank made an accusation, counting money and what what... my mum put in a R100.00 that was the money on top before the last R200 yet they insisted it wasn't hers after showing me their deposit list on printed paper... they had too many technical reasons for it to make any sense and they could never give a straight answer... still played though only because we didn't want to drive out when we just got there...
