Its a small musuem but offers great history about urban history of the city. I also enjoyed synergy of the HIV/AIDS part .Once again if you familiar with KZN(Durban) history (apartheied and post apartheid)you will appreciate this synergy . As a South African , i would recommend this musuem. It shares light were we come from as a South African nation.

Small place, worth the trip to learn about what happened in Durban towards ending Apartheid. Also an excellent exhibit about HIV/AIDS and TB in South Africa and what is being done and how it is working.

This museum has been around for years, and really provides an interesting and well-curated experience, both for the permanent and temporary exhibitions. Deals with the lived reality of locals under the pass system and racist apartheid laws.
