Was part of a group attending the new Polo launch at this venue.

Love the old, type of metal feeling of the venue.

Many options for an event at this location with different rooms and levels to work with.

Great bar - The Good Luck Bar, that took us late into the evening.

Safe and secure parking across the road of the venue.

Have a look at this venue, if you plan a function.

Thank Jacques H

We had a great time visiting on what turned out to be national beer day. This place has a great vibe with restaurants and shops throughout. There were concerts playing while we were there so it was very loud.

Friday nights are quiet so don't bother unless you're going to the good luck bar next door with live entertainment. There are plenty food stalls to choose from, you're bound to find your meal of the day there. A pleasant surprise was a little later when a whole host of cyclists of all ages and arrived and immediately there was a different vibe. Apparently there are evening cycling tours and jhb that looks to be quite the thing. The little book store is a delight. A few classic 2nd hand books and some books one would never buy.. But I did :)

This precinct is an amazing gem in Jozi's CBD. Easy access from the M1/M2 freeway. Creative hub in the concrete jungle, with an art gallery, eateries and other outlets. Inspiring environment. Will be back!

Food markets everyone craze and a great outing to try new and different things however are they losing their touch because too many same suppliers are at all the markets. 1 Fox Street - The Shed been there this weekend after the change. The old larger venue is now used to hire out for events and the market moved to a smaller place opposite. From being so large n spacious with numerous suppliers to a more smaller confined space. The waffle we purchased was raw and we got a refund when we showed it. I ordered seafood platter for 2 +/- @R120 (fish, rice, chips, calamari, prawns) which is actually a platter for 1 , fish and chips R60 and snack box (chips and calamari) R60. The prawns were awful n watery. The rice was tasty. Some of the chips were not cooked and the owners replaced them. Food is worth the price. There is no playgroup but an open space to sit and children to run around in a safe environment. Disappointed at the place used to love the vibe and place. Very few people for a weekend. Still don't understand why parking is so expensive at R20 you don't even pay that much at a shopping mall for an undercover parking which is paved. Price most definitely must be reviewed. I wish more places would start catering for all cultures.
