I'm excited to be the first to review the Soweto Night life Experience. After going on the Joburg Nightlife Experience the day before and having such a great time, I had to try out Soweto. Let me preface by saying that these are totally different experiences. The vibes are so different from the city to this township; music, some dance moves and definitely the vibe. Both are great vibes; however, different. It's definitely a different experience even when purchasing drinks. You would definitely have to go to both experience to say to get a true Gauteng Night Life experience.

Tye and Romeo has great synergy so the party actually start once you get on the bus. By the time, we arrived that the club the whole group was totally hyped. Being the first time Tye and Romeo brought a group to Soweto, we could see them group checking us out. It was like they smelled fresh blood. After getting drinks and hitting the dance floor, the spectators seem to drop their suspicion and realized that we were there to have a great time. They hit the dance floor right along with us and by the end of the night, you would have thought we were old party buddies. By the end of night, even a few people walked us out to the bus.

As regular traveller to East Africa, Johannesburg, or Joburg as it is locally called, seemed like many other large African cities.

I was warned that you have to watch out in several areas and could be easily robbed. A perspective was built around a criminal intensive city. When I did the tour, this perspective was radically changed and I came to deeply appreciate Joburg. I had the most amazing time, excellent historical insights and delicious foods, giving a much deeper insight in Africa than on any other tour I have done in my many travels.

The team of tour guides are professional, learned, and funny. They make sure you feel safe and comfortable. It is definitely worth it's prize.

They showed the places you would otherwise ignore, and connect you to the beautiful history of unity through diversity. A melting pot of cultures, resulting into a city that can inspire the world. After this tour, I became convinced that with these sort of youthful visions combined with historical understanding, Africa will become a paradise.

Do not leave Joburg, or even South Africa for that matter, without experiencing this world-class city tour! It will likely become the highlight of your holiday.

This tour was so much more than we expected! Franck and his team really took the time for us and not only took us to a great variety of African restaurants but also gave us a really good insight about the history of Joburg and the neighbourhood Yeoville. I would definitely recommend people to do this tour if they want to hear and see a side of Joburg you wont see that quickly on other tours.

Thay and Dahlubuhle showed us some of their favourite spots in Soweto Township. After having first conversations with locals while dicovering soweto steets we decided to have braii at a typical Sowetish meetingpoint. You choose your favourite meat and bring it to one of the braiiers who like to Grill it for you. Served with Rice and tshakalaka it was definitly one of the best braiis I ever had. During supper is the best time to get contact with locals what is easy because they are very interested and open minded.

For me it Was an important thing to make Sure not having a typical touristic Trip cause its not fair to visit it like a Zoo and taking pictures of living Situations. Visiting Soweto in a small Group with the guiding of a local is a good way to prevent This.

Augustin seemed like a nice guy but this tour was a joke. He knew extremely basic information about the places that we visited, did not follow the itinerary and a lot of the time we walked along in silence and every now and then he would read the name of a building to us. The tour was supposed to last 3 hours, with lunch and beers at neighbourgood market. It barely last for 1, and to be honest we didn't say anything because we were glad to go off on our own, as the whole thing just seemed really awkward. No lunch, no beers at neighbourgood (which he did not know the location of and instead said that another bar was the famous market) and for how much money this cost was incredibly poor. Would highly not recommend.

We are regretful that your experience on our Braamfontein Walking Tour did not live up to your expectations. We aim to always give our guests the best the city has to offer and we will be dealing with the matter and look to improve the experience. Please advise on your stay in Johannesburg so we may offer you complimentary tickets to one of our other experiences to make up for this one. Our sincere apologies for your unsatisfactory tour.
