We are seldom on the East Rand but stopped at La Terrazza for breakfast on Sunday morning.
The place looks quaint and aunthentic so we were excited!
And the coffee was a good start but then when we tried to order breakfast we were told that although there are hashbrowns included in some of the breakfasts and also listed as an extra they take too long to make. We were happy to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and wait but were then told actually it is not an option because we don't want to make hashbrowns.
The waitress was very pleasant and offered to swap it out but rather take something off the menu if you are not in a position to serve it!
Oh and they allow smoking in the (open) veranda. I guess if you are a smoker that will be a benefit but if not you will probably prefer to sit inside.
