Beautiful little church made more beautiful by the singing of the attending people and the pomp and ceremony of the occation.Worth a look and if you can go on sundays during a sermon,a nice experience.

This church was very interesting place to visit and was one of the highlights on the Donkin Heritage Trail. The foundation stone for the church was laid in 1825 and the building was opened for service in 1832. Inside the church is the Chantry Chapel of St George. It was constructed in 1927 as a memorial to the Prince Alfred’s Guards. The retired Colours (flags) of the regiment hang in the chapel above the memorials to those who lost their lives in various campaigns. We ended up spending about 40 minutes inside the church with its lovely Victorian stain glass windows and a lot of history.

I stopped by the cathedral with a couple of colleagues to show them as I have been there before but non of them had been. The cathedral has beautiful stained glass windows with a lot of historicly significent features. Good to combine a visit with one to the Public Library
