Ok so your walking on the skywalk . You look down and can see the bottom of the Grand Canyon! Very cool. The only negative is that you can’t bring your cell phones with you. So I had to pay for pictures on the skywalk. Didn’t like that at all. Otherwise it was a great experience. Great views of the Canyon.

Thank you for visiting Grand Canyon Skywalk. We're glad you enjoyed the experience. Cameras and other personal items are now allowed on Skywalk to prevent people from dropping items on the glass panels or over the railing into the Grand Canyon.

The actual skywalk was fantastic as were the views of the Canyon. The downside was the queues for the shuttle bus and the cost of photos etc. Over all a wonderful experience being able to walk out above the canyon.

This all started with us simply wanting to do the canyon zip line tour. We called and they would not give us an exact address of the zip line or letting us know that we had to get on a bus tour in order to zip line. We did not find that tidbit out until we got there. I attempted to ask three parking attendants about the zip line and all three were extremely rude. I am doing my best not to exaggerate or be dramatic...they were awful. So still not knowing about the bus thing because we're forced to wait in line to get into the facility where you get to speak with an agent-type person. After 30 minutes of waiting we were told the zip line was closed due to wind. This information would have been extremely useful on the phone before we took a two hour detour off the highway to find this place. I was so mad I dragged the family back to the car refusing to fork over a single dollar to these people. I am sure the views are great and the attractions are probably fun so forgive me for not being able to comment on them. That said we enjoyed Grand Canyon National Park for a fraction of the cost and don't feel like we missed a thing.

Bret--We are sorry to read your comments and apologize for your experience with our staff. We try hard to treat every guest with courtesy, but it sounds like we did not meet that standard in your case. We will pass your comments along to management. We apologize for Zipline not operating on the day you visited. Unfortunately, windy weather conditions may results in zipline operations being suspended or shutdown. We understand your disappointment and frustration.

Paid extra for this option on our Grand Canyon trip through Grayline. Waste of time. You can’t take pictures yourself - they have photographers there to take several pictures at different points on the skywalk so you have to queue until a photographer becomes free. They say this is so the glass does not not damaged as you also have to wear shoe covers. The glass is well scratched already! The skywalk only goes out a little way over the canyon. Better to take pictures on the actual canyon as you get very close to the edge.

We are disappointed to read your comments that you feel Skywalk is overrated. We do appreciate you taking the time to visit.

Let's get the only negative out of the way to start with. Charging about $20 each just to walk out there and not allowed to have cameras then charge $25 per photo- is very expensive. The views are awe-inspiring and pictures don't do it justice. Guano point also has some panoramic views not to be missed. We booked through a travel company who were great, although shop around and read reviews 1st. Absolutely worth the visit and I amazed myself by going out into the glass, I really don't like heights, to the surprise of my partner. She was expecting me to stay back. The lockers are free to put phones and loose items in.
