My son was graduating from Dental School in Glendale Arizona in June. My dad and my wife decided they really wanted to go and help me and support him. I am disabled-slow walker/roller type. My dad is 87 and wheelchair/walker. We picked Staybridge based on our past experiences and the amenities. Staybridge is very friendly to disabled travelers. Our two bedroom, two bathroom suite had one disability shower/tub and a full kitchen.
We have some medical dietary restrictions so that's perfect for us. My dad just loves the free breakfast and manager's dinners. It's a popular add on that makes the hotel even more welcoming. The pool was perfect in the Arizona heat. It has sprinklers too-I've never seen that but it really helped cool you off. The staff is friendly and I could see that they were taking care of repairs and maintenance. One of my bathroom fans did not work and it was repaired when we came back in the early afternoon. I was impressed that they took care of things so promptly. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. My wife liked the big outlet mall across the street. They even offered a dinner shuttle so you could go out and eat and not have to drive! All in all it was an excellent stay. We took advantage of the free laundry and free coffee as well.More
